Who We Are
The Clementine Mathis Rouse Scholarship Fund (The Fund)
was established in November 1994 in honor of and as a tribute
to Clementine Mathis Rouse. We believe that everyone should be
given an opportunity to further their education. It is our
mission to assist students financially to attain their
educational goals, school curricula, and reward excellence in
teaching.

The Fund currenly has 11 volunteer members. Annual expenses
are 3 to 4% of funds raised and are primarily for paper
supplies.
Both the scholarship and teacher awards are made at the
annual awards banquet held on the third Saturday of March each
year. Funds are distributed to the teacher upon receipt of a
letter describing the educational program for which the money
will be used. The student scholarship is distributed between
August and September at the student's request.
The Fund is always looking for volunteers to assist in its
efforts to service the youth of our community who wish to
continue their education. Any resident of Little Rock, North
Little Rock, or Pulaski County 18 years or older may work with
us. We are most appreciative of your interest in the Clementine
Mathis Rouse Scholarship Fund.
