Cory L. Walker

Cory earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with a minor in Secondary Education.

He is the program director for one of the most successful African American male recruitment and retention programs for higher education in the state of Texas. In 2009, he was appointed to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Minority Success Taskforce.

Cory volunteers with the African American Men & Boys Harvest Foundation and conducts parent workshops to prepare young Black males for college. He also assists other institutions of higher education define their African American male initiative programs.

Cory resides in Austin, TX with his wife and son.
